Our Story

I have always seen family friends, and the world drinking coffee. I never had an interest in warm drinks and found heated coffee to be bitter and acidic. At the age of 37 I had a lifestyle change and cut out all sugars, specifically sugared beverages. So I began my search for a pleasing, sugar-free beverage that could give me a jolt. This is when I had my first cold brew coffee. The substance I had evaded for decades had become so smooth, refreshing, and uplifting! From this moment on, cold brew coffee became my passion. I traveled the world and made it my personal mission to sample every cold brew coffee along the way. I traveled from Texas to New York, Georgia, Colorado, California, Seattle, Hawaii, Mexico, Jamaica, and Turks & Caicos. Having found myself in some of the smallest, most remote coffee houses to the most prestigious and grandest coffee reserves, I always found that the cold brew I personally produced was more flavorful and balanced then all the coffees I tasted. Smart Mule Coffee was birthed out of a passion to want to share my signature cold brew with family, friends, and the world.
